Doosan’s Ariel Miranda set a new single season KBO record for most strikeouts in season with 224 (and counting). KBO legend Choi Dong-won previously held the record with 223.
SSG’s Choi Jeong set a new world record for hit-by-pitches. In his career, he has not been plunked a total of 288 times. He is now ahead of Hughie Jennings (287) and Craig Biggio (285).
